Fairfield Inn & Suites Rapid City, Rapid City

I had a nice stay at the Fairfield Inn Rapid City, where the spacious rooms were quite comfortable, making my exploration of the nearby Badlands enjoyable. However, I found the water park admission fee a bit steep for hotel guests, and the breakfast offerings could use more variety. The overall experience was positive thanks to the convenient location and pleasant amenities, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

The hotel has some redeeming qualities like friendly staff and comfortable beds, but overall, it doesn’t meet the usual Marriott standards. The noise levels from neighboring rooms and the lack of housekeeping during my stay were significant downsides. Additionally, the breakfast experience wasn’t up to par, leaving much to be desired. While the space was adequate, the value for what was offered just didn’t add up.
